Saree is one of the ever green style/ trend in Indian fashion. The only thing which has changed is the draping style, retaining the basic elegance and feminine delicacy of the drape. Saree is basically a drape of long, unstitched fabric which give designers a lot of potential, creativity and freedom to work on different drapes. The wearer can also have different looks with the same piece of garment.
A saree is not restricted by the kind of event you are attending. If it is a corporate event, plain cotton saree or something in digital print in chiffon would work well. If it is any function, a Banarsi saree with its heavy embellishments is what you are looking for. There are numerous options available in sarees which you can select as per your event.
Handloom sarees such as Kancheepuram, Banarasi, Tussar, Resham&Jari, Ikkat, Patola, South Indian silks, Kalamkaris are the crown jewel of Indian ethnic wear. They are often a family heirloom and are a heavy financial as well as an emotional investment. Their gorgeous, ornate designs and embellishments can transform you from a simple to an elegant, ethnic diva in a jiffy.
One of the most sought and loved fashion choices of women is the georgette saree. Georgette is known for its versatility, crepe-like flowy material, lightweight, and comfort which makes it the first choice for fashion lovers. It’s Fluid material makes it easy to handle, and can also be weaved into various styles or patterns.
